In January 2015, the Antonissen brothers crafted their first homemade oak tables in a modest shed at the back of the garden. Forty items were ordered through Marketplace, marking the beginning of Table du Sud.

As demand soared, the brothers transformed from part-time hobbyists to full-time entrepreneurs within six months. Fast forward almost five years, and Table du Sud evolved from a backyard shed startup to a 5,000 square meter multimillion-dollar company.
